Exterior Watch
Each home is unique with different features and may require the following.
Check mailbox and pick up fliers.
Walk around the perimeter of your home.
Visually inspect out buildings for obvious issues.
Check exterior lighting.
Visually inspect for signs of forced entry and vandalism
Monitor landscaping.
Perform a visual inspection of walls, siding and roof for obvious issues.
Check gutters and downspouts (from the ground) for drainage problems.
Inspect for obvious pest or insect infestation.
Interior Watch
Each home is unique with different features and may require the following.
Check thermostat for proper mode and function.
Ensure security system is operational.
Make sure windows and doors are locked.
Look for signs of forced entry.
Flush or run all toilets and faucets.
Look for obvious signs of rodents and insects.
Run the kitchen sink disposal.
Check circuit breaker boxes for tripped breakers.
Change timers on lights.
Check refrigerators and freezers.
Check the water heater mode and look for leaks.
